It seems that there has been a recurring theme as to how I discover YouTube artists and that is through Tyler Ward. This time, I did not need Tyler Ward's help to find this wonderful talent. I first found Sam Tsui a while back. I believe it was when Glee first came out and I was looking for any cover of "Don't Stop Believin'" that I could find. And I stumbled across Sam Tsui's cover. In this cover he used duplicates of himself to act as other performers and to hit the other notes to harmonize together. I have loved Sam Tsui's music ever since.

Sam is a student at Yale and is accompanied by his friend and producer, Kurt Schneider. Together they create genius covers of all of our favorite songs. And in some cases makes us enjoy songs that we didn't like at first. Kurt is often seen performing with Sam in some covers as the back up instruments to Sam's magnificent vocals, but Kurt can sing as well, and very good I might add. Together they are unstoppable at wowing the audience of YouTube.

Sam has such a unique voice. He is able to hit those high notes that just gives you goosebumps, well at least it does that for me. In my past post about Christina Grimmie, I showed the video for "Just A Dream" and you will see Sam hitting those killer vocals in that cover. Like I said back in that post, I presented that video to my college class and just about everyone was in awe. As much as I want to show you a bunch of videos, I will only show a couple, the rest you should check out for yourself on the YouTube channel. First is his cover of Christina Perri's "Jar of Hearts":





What'd you think? Awesome, right? Well Sam not only sings beautiful renditions of others' songs but he sings amazing ones of his own. Here is his most recent original called "Start Again":
